MANY people in Mzansi often wonder what pressures are associated with being born into a famous family or being a child of a celebrity.
The kids of legendary actress, Connie Chiume, are on a mission to provide all the answers in their new podcast show.
Nongelo Chiume and Nothando Naledi Mabuza started a podcast show called The kids of the Celebrity.
The show is meant to give viewers and listeners an exclusive behind the scenes look at the lives of the children of Mzansi celebrities.
Nongelo said they want to share their experiences with the public.
“Our aim with this podcast is to humanize the lives of celebrity kids. We want to go beyond just providing entertaining and informative content.

“The podcast delves deep into the complicated life dynamics of the children of famous South Africans, providing a glimpse into their world through robust and candid interviews,” he said.
He said the audience will experience firsthand of what it’s like to navigate life in the shadow of their parents while also pursuing their own dreams.
Nothando said they believe their stories will resonate with many people, whether they are celebrity kids or just curious about what goes on behind the scenes.
“We hope to bring a fresh perspective and shed light on the realities of our lives. The podcast promises to be compelling and thought-provoking podcast featuring interviews with a variety of prominent children from different fields such as entertainment, sports, business and politics.
“The hosts will ask tough questions and encourage their guests to share their stories authentically to create a space for open and honest conversation,” she said.
YouTube viewers and the podcast are now available on major podcast platforms, and new episodes will be released every two weeks.
