“I have to thank my baby mama for the drama which led me to this. Thank you very much, guys. I appreciate this so much,” he said.
Vafa said: “Thank you so much to those who enjoy my content. I started content creation about the same time I started stand-up comedy. And I remember when my first video became viral, I knew it had gone to places because my mum sent me a screenshot from her Indian meeting group in Mahikeng.”

Actor and comedian, Marc Lottering was honoured with the Hall of Fame Award. Accepting his award, he thanked everyone who supported him.
“Comedy is important in all countries. We must never shut up. And we still have the privilege in South Africa. What I also want to say is that awards cannot define who you are because Comics Choice have been there for 11 years, and this is my first award. And like many comedians sitting here tonight, you sit and think: ‘Wow, I didn’t win’.
“Thank you very much to the team, and my husband of 25 years is here tonight. He’s been my toughest critic,” he said.
