TS Galaxy Star Thamsanqa Gabuza's case has been withdrawn.
The 36-year-old footballer made a brief appearance in the Alexandra Magistrate Court on Thursday, 28 March.
Gabuza's last appeared in court on Thursday, 15 February.
His case was remanded for further investigation and to obtain damage reports. In November 2023, the footballer was charged for malicious damage to property.
He was accompanied by his partner, Zikhona Zode, who had opened the case against him. The two looked happy before court and seemed to have rekindled things.
During the court proceedings, Magistrate Bulelani Mbeleni asked Zikhona if she understood the terms on the withdrawal statement she made.
"Yes, I know and understand what is said on the statement. I'm not against it," Zikhona said.

After his appearance, Gabuza was seen smiling and excited.
When the SunTeam approached him for comment, the soccer star said they must write everything.
"Just write what you want. I'm not against you," he said.
"I'm doing good, and you can see. I don't have much to say," he said.
In January 2024, Gabuza missed his court appearance as he was sick and the complainant, Zikhona Zode, was not in court.
The 31-year-old woman, who is an online teacher, met Gabuza in 2021. She said they became friends before trying out a romantic relationship, which never worked out.
Gabuza was arrested in November 2023 after a case was opened against him.
