RASTA has done it again!
This time his work screams Amabokoboko!
Celebrity painter Lebani Sirenje, known to many as Rasta, stunned Boks fans in Joburg on Thursday, 2 November with his latest artwork depicting the faces of the victorious Springboks.
The artwork came at the right time, as the team was greeted with great joy by the citizens of Mzansi during their trophy tour parade in Gauteng.
South Africa beat New Zealand 12-11 at the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France to lift the Webb Ellis Cup for the fourth time.
While this win brought chills and tears to many South Africans, Rasta felt the need to create a masterpiece - a lasting memory of this outstanding win.
"It took me days to finish this painting. This is my way of celebrating the Boks' win," he said.

Many will wonder when Rasta found the time to create such a masterpiece. He said that every time the Boks took to the field, he did his painting.
This is not Rasta’s first rodeo when it comes to painting the Springboks.
In 2019, Rasta, like many South Africans, gathered at OR Tambo International Airport in Joburg to welcome home the Springboks after their Rugby World Cup (RWC) victory in Japan.
At the time, he had brought his canvas and all his painting tools to paint a portrait of Siya.
But this time he went big, not only in the size of the painting, but included more faces.
Although this might be Rasta's biggest project after his wall painting of Mandoza, Brenda Fassie, Lebo Mathosa and HHP in 2021, he still considers it his best.
"This is my greatest painting. It will go down in the history books. People were excited both here in Joburg and in Pretoria. Siya Kolisi saw it and said ‘wow’, even the team took a photo with it. Hopefully one day it will hang on a wall of fame," he said.
