JABU Mdletye allegedly left his home in Bophelong in the Vaal on Saturday night, 5 August, to see his girlfriend in Vanderbijlpark.
But the 40-year-old DJ, popularly known as DJ China, was found dead on the side of the road on Sunday, 6 August.
His mum Busisiwe (63), said Jabu told her he was going to his room to sleep as he was tired and wanted to relax before going to work early in the morning.
