SOCIAL media users have been left heartbroken by yet another struggling celebrity asking for donations from the public.
This comes after a video of veteran actor Vusumzi Thanda recently surfaced.
He was thanking his fans for sending him money and sharing his bank account details for those who would still like to donate.
Thanda was popularly known as Tshawe on the SABC1 sitcom Emzini Wezinsizwa.
He has also been a call actor on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen.
A 50 seconds video of him was shared on social media on Thursday, 22 September, and has been trending ever since.

In the video, Thanda said: “I want to thank everyone who has responded to my call asking for help. Please also do the same to others who are in need.”
He further shared his bank account details and said: “This is my bank card that shows the name of the bank and account number. Thank you very much.”
The video was shared by Nozuku Mahadebe Habe, who further wrote that Thanda was diagnosed with sugar diabetes which led him to be unable to walk for over a year.
She said he had to leave his role on The Queen.
She added that he started to walk again this year in May, but getting work has been difficult.
She asked people to donate to Thanda even if it’s just R10 because it will go a long way in helping him.
Actress Pearl Thusi took to her Instagram page to react to the news of Thanda struggling.

Pearl said: “This is so heartbreaking. Artists who have inspired and entertained us for many years are now on their knees asking for help. Please let’s help. Swipe for clearer visual of his details.
“What’s cruel is how the SABC continues to undercut artists as they continue to make money. What’s even worse is how artists can’t come together and fight this because we’re so divided. Things need to change.”
The veteran actor has been on our screens since 1994 and he was known for his favourite saying, “as far as I am concerned”, in Emzini Wezinsizwa.
He acted alongside Jerry Phele, the late Ronald Mqwebu, Jabulani Nkosi and Shadrack Ngema.
