AMAPIANO star Mr JazziQ has ventured into a different business and will launch a nightclub on Thursday, 15 June!
The music producer and DJ, whose real name is Tumelo Manyoni, said he will launch his new restaurant and nightclub called Vibes in Main in Wynberg, Sandton, Joburg.
Mr JazziQ from Alexandra, east of Joburg told Daily Sun he has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and it was always his dream to run a business like a nightclub.
"I started deejaying at the age of 13 to make extra cash. From there I invested in a computer and started music production. I later learnt how to run a business and the importance of investments and financial literacy.
"Now that I am older and wiser, I'm learning that I can make money elsewhere or invest in something that will live beyond me and feed my family when I am no more," he said.
Mr JazziQ said he's a businessman first and the music came because of his entrepreneurial spirit.
"People can expect good food, great music and new friends. It will also allow them to view Alex beyond the sunset," he said.

"There will be new music obviously in the summer. I am in a really good space and am spending most of my studio time making collaborations with people that I love and admire. I can’t wait for you guys to hear the music," he said.
He said the podcast, JazziQ and Friends, is doing well.
"We wrapped up season one in December and are currently shooting season two in collaboration with Spitz. JazziQ and Friends is the first amapiano podcast of its kind and I guess the plan now is to take it to a wider audience," he said.
