MPHO 'Matlou Matlou' Matlou (36) and Ephraim 'Madlisa 808' Sehlabi (31) have mastered the art of unity among musicians.
The singers from Mookgophong and Bela Bela in Limpopo, said they want to show others that all they need are good communication skills. They told Daily Sun that they are happy that they have managed to write many songs together.
Mpho, who was inspired by the late Bujo Mujo and Steve Kekana, said they want to have an impact like those stars did.
"Their music has a positive impact. And Zola 7 played a big role in my fellow musician's career," he said.
Madlisa 808 said he grew up watching Zola 7 help other people achieve their dreams, and one day he wants to do the same to help others.

Mpho said he started singing in a school choir at the age of 19.
"It was then where I realised I had a great passion and love for music. And my friend Madlisa 808 started singing in 2003 at the age of 12 after being persuaded by his aunt to join her gospel group," Mpho said.
The duo worked with Leon Lee on a single titled Intombi yase Thekwini, which was released in October 2022. They also worked with Bayor97 on a new single titled Wa Nou, which will be released soon along with a music video.
"We would love to work with Dr Malinga, Blaq Diamond, Makhadzi and King Monada. This is because we admire the hard work they put into their craft," Mpho said.
Some of their previous songs include Uyajola, Sefubeng Sa Darlie, Wa Mpona Naa and Bjala.
Madlisa 808 said all the songs have music videos and are currently being played on different music channels.
Mpho was nominated for Best Gospel House Solo Artist at the INGOMA Awards.
