The Wife actor Linda has closed his food business due to inflation and load shedding

Businessman and actor Linda Majola had to shut down his business that brought him food and everything before fame.

The 26-year-old Joburg-based performer first shared the sad news about his business shutting down on Thursday, 2 February with his followers.

He told Daily Sun that this was the hardest thing to do as he wished he could keep it going.

The TikToker from Durban said inflation has crippled small businesses in Mzansi.

“My heart is shattered but I am also hopeful that this ending is preparing me for a better beginning. No amount of motivation and hustle culture can help me deal with the ever rising costs of living and operating a business,” said Linda.

The actor said he is taking this time to recoup, heal, and improve on his skills.

“Hopefully, soon I’ll have the strength to achieve the business I’ve set out. It’s not an easy road but we keep on going,” said Linda..

“I started my business from scratch. The name of the company is Humble Cafe because of the humility that the experience of starting it brought me. The multiple challenges I experienced taught me to be patient and accept that things happen in their own time without any pressures from you,” he said.

Linda said it’s not easy to accept that what he loves is now coming to an end.

“Local people have helped me more than enough in supporting my business, it would be unfair if I asked them to help me. It is the duty of the government to stabilise our economy so we as small business owners are rightfully able to bear the fruits of our efforts,” he said.

When asked about his plans for this year, he said: “We plan but God decides. I will continue living in God’s dream for me and he will guide me where I should conquer next.”

The actor urged young people to not lose hope.

“Even though the current state of our country doesn’t allow us to dream, let us continue to keep that light in us shining. It won’t be dark forever,” said Linda.
