“Many people have been asking me to open an academy,” he said.

Mandla said he wanted to give young people a chance to explore the film industry.

He said he came up with the idea when he was approached by aspiring actors during the Covid-19 pandemic.

He said he believed in giving young people chances and it warmed his heart to see others grow in the entertainment industry.

“I want them to learn more about the business of the industry. We will be teaching them more about film production, acting and directing,” he said.
