LEVIN Tlale, as known as Levinkie, is a Metro cop who wishes motorists would obey the road rules.
He is also a member of Purple Rain, a biking club from Tshwane.
Originally from Atteridgeville, west of Pretoria, this biker will ride with his crew on the 31st of this month to raise funds. They aim to buy uniforms for high school pupils in time for winter.

A: Suzuki K9 GSX-R600
Q: Is this your first bike?
A: Yes, it is.
Q: How long have you been riding?
A: For three years now.
Q: Why did you choose black?
A: It’s called midnight black and it’s my favourite colour.
Q: Does your bike have a name?
A: Yes, Chocolate Cosmo.
Q: Do you have any traffic fines?
A: No and I’m not planning to get any – I am a law-abiding citizen.
Q: How often to do ride?
A: Well, it depends on the weather but I aim to ride daily.
Q: Tell us about your outfit?
A: I try to match my outfit to my bike so I look cool but while riding is great, protecting yourself and staying safe should be the main objective.
Q: How far have you ridden?
A: The furthest for me would be Swaziland but I plan to ride further.
Q: What do you think of other Mzansi road users?
A: We can reduce the number of accidents if we obey the road rules. Most of us only think about ourselves while speeding and driving drunk, which is why we end up with such horribly high numbers of deaths on our roads.
