THE FACTS

Vusi Sithole from Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, said he was employed by Protective Force Security for two years.

He believes he was unfairly dismissed and reported the matter to the department of labour in Alberton.

He was told the case had been referred to the Joburg office. He visited the Joburg office and found there was no record of it there.

WHAT I DID

I spoke to the CCMA to find out the outcome of the case.

SOLUTION

Nonhlahla Nkosi from the CCMA said the system shows that Vusi’s case went for arbitration on 21 June 2018 and he was present. The CCMA supplied a copy of the arbitration.
