Ingredients
- Three garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
- Two spicy chillies, chopped
- 5ml paprika
- 2ml ground cumin
- 2ml ground turmeric
- One handful fresh coriander
- Salt and black pepper
- 15ml olive oil
- Two chicken breast fillets, cut into large pieces
- One onion, cut down the length into equal sections
- One yellow pepper, cut into squares
- Wooden sosatie sticks
PREPARATION
- With a pestle and mortar, grind the garlic, chilli, cumin, turmeric, coriander, salt and black pepper and olive oil together until it makes a paste.
- In a mixing bowl, add the chicken and paste. Rub the paste all over the chicken, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- After chilling, skewer pieces of the chicken, onion and pepper on the sticks, then cook on a grill over a braai until done. ) Serve with relish and rice.
