TWO ABC Motsepe League sides Maccabi FC and TS Sporting have secured promotion to the National First Division (NFD) following Thursday's play-off semi-finals.
Gauteng representatives Maccabi were the first team to confirm their spot in the NFD when they defeated Dolphins 3-1 in the first semi-final on Thursday.
Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Collins Mbesuma and former Mpumalanga Black Aces Madoda Motha were both on the score sheet on the day.
The second side to secure promotion to the NFD were Mpumalanga outfit TS Sporting after they defeating Mangaung 5-4 on penalties in the second semi-final.
The two sides will now lock horns in the play-off final on Saturday to determine the number one who will win R1 million rand with number two getting half a million.
