PRESIDENT Cyril Ramaphosa’s spokeswoman Khusela Diko’s husband, Chief Madzikane II Diko, is entangled in an embarrassing medical supplies tender worth more than R100 million.

As a result, Khusela is on a leave of absence from work.

The Special Investigating Unit has opened criminal cases against three companies including Madzikane’s company, Royal Bhaca Projects.

Gauteng Health MEC Dr Bandile Masuku is also chilling at home earning a fat salary after he was suspended by Premier David Makhura over the same matter.

Masuku’s wife Loyiso, who’s MMC in the Joburg city council, is also spending quality time with her husband after being granted leave in the wake of her alleged role in the tender mess.

MKHWEBANE CONTINUES TO FIGHT FOR HER JOB!

Most of you know the story by now and are probably wondering why we’re harping on known facts.

Well, while these politically-connected individuals are living it up at taxpayers’ expense, a poor gogo from Ekurhuleni died.

Gogo Tryphina, whose life could probably have been saved by medical equipment and medication worth way less than R500, died after being turned away at a clinic that claimed it was too full to attend to the emergency.

Chances are these politicians and rich people will be back in their offices soon, with nothing having happened to them.

They’ll probably be cleared by the party and government’s internal processes while ordinary people continue to suffer and die from preventable diseases.

It’s unthinkable that South Africa is sitting with such a humongous, shameful scandal, as well as many others, at a time when every cent should be used to fight the coronavirus.

WIFE AND PASTOR POKE IN CHURCH!

More than 10 000 people have already died from the disease and, instead of all hands being on deck to turn the Covid-19 tide, some fingers are scraping the proverbial cookie jar, thereby lining certain people’s pockets at a time of disaster.

All those who’re involved in corruption, during such a horrible time in our history, should hang their heads in shame.

This is a time when justice shouldn’t only be done. It has to be seen to be done!
