THE Bhengu family are in pain and still don’t know what caused Nobuhle’s death.

Family member Mbali said: “When we got to the Bahamas, we thought we would get the truth about what had happened, but we were told post mortem results were not back from the laboratory.”

Speaking from Umlazi, south of Durban, on Wednesday after arriving with Nobuhle’s ashes, Mbali said the Bahamas authorities were no longer saying TB was the cause of death.

She said it will be difficult for the family to get closure, not knowing what killed Nobuhle.

“They promised to send us results, but we don’t know if it will be the right ones.”

Among those who welcomed Nobuhle’s ashes at the airport was Premier Willies Mchunu’s wife Zodwa and government officials.

Nobuhle will be buried at 17 cemetery on Saturday.
