An Identikit of a man cops believe can help solve a KZN political killing
Kwa-Zulu Natal police are appealing to the public to help locate the man who has information on a political killing.
Police Spokesman Brigadier Jay Naicker said that on 18 November, councillor Sibusiso Maphumlo was shot and killed in Umlazi, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
Maphumlo was allegedly sitting in his car when he came under a hail of bullets.
“A case of murder was opened at the Umlazi Police Station and was assigned to the Political Task Team for investigation,” Naicker said.
“Anyone with information on his identity or whereabouts is requested to contact the investigating officer, Sergeant Dlamini on 082 458 5297 or Crime Stop on 0860 10111,” he also said.
