WHEN he was interviewed on Metro FM earlier this year about allegations that he abused Babes Wodumo, Mampintsha asked listeners to pray for him.

It seems as if he doesn’t need divine intervention anymore.

Although Babes left Mampintsha’s record label and started managing her own bookings after making the allegations, the two seem to have kissed and made up.

Mampintsha and Babes, whose real name is Bongekile Simelane, have joined hands to pray for those with relationship problems.

They have released a song called Siyabathandazela.

When the SunTeam asked Mampintsha, whose real name is Mandla Maphumulo, whether the song had anything to do with Metro FM host Masechaba Ndlovu, who grilled him on air and later announced she was separating from her husband, he didn’t want to say much.

“I don’t want to talk about other people’s affairs, but I can say that God is turning the tables.

“This prayer song is for everyone, including Masechaba.”

He said he composed the song when he was still having relationship problems with Babes.

Asked whether he and Babes were back together, he didn’t give a clear response.

“Babes and I love each other. I don’t think that people who hate each other can work together.

“There are a lot of projects we’re doing together.”
