Award winning actress Zikhona Sodlaka has scored a major role.

The talented actress and new mum has joined Mzansi Magic’s telenovela, Diepsloot, as Detective Cebekhulu.

According to the producers of the show, Black Brain Productions, the seasoned actress will come into the show to investigate a recent death after Warrant Cele failed.

Describing the new detective in  town, the writers of the show described her as a calculated detective who is constantly one step ahead.

“She is a gorgeous woman who makes it a point to dress really suave with her corporate suits and fine jackets,” the channel revealed.

“She is a focused detective who has a problem with dirty and untidy places. She’s constantly washing and sanitising her hands even after greeting people or touches things.”

They channel further said she is extremely good at her job and picks through every detail, which could be a problem for the girls.

The seasoned actress who has been part of many shows such as iGazi, Rhythm City and Soul City will make her first appearance on Monday, 9 August 2021.
