WEDDING bells are ringing for Gomora couple Zodwa and Bongani.
On Monday, Bongani (played by Thulani Mtsweni) asked for Zodwa’s (played by Sanna Mchunu) hand in marriage and she said yes.
Social media was abuzz as Gomora viewers started congratulating them.
“Wuuuuuh for a second I thought Zodwa is going to decline yoh. Thank God she said yes, I nearly collapsed,” wrote Kagiso Mtsenga
Mambadvonga commented: “I know the heart wants what it wants but can’t Zodwa’s heart just love Bongz?”

Charmaine Modise wrote: “Yoh Bongani’s proposal to Zodwa brought out the voetsek we’ve all been waiting for, yoh Bra Don.”
But not everyone was happy for Zodwa, her ex-boyfriend, Don, who also witnessed the proposal, was left fuming.
For some time, Don (played by Israel Motseke Zulu ) has been trying to get the mother of his kids back into his life. He has been jealous, so much so that he threatened Bongani. At some point he pleaded with his kids to speak on his behalf, but all those efforts failed.
The proposal, which took place in front of him, was the last straw for Don.
Some viewers felt sorry for him. Kagiso wrote: “I don’t want to be Don right now, nka tlhokofala.”
Kwana Manaka wrote: “Don really knows how to execute that VOETSEEEEK. Best voetsek ever.”
