SHE might be Mzansi’s favourite villain on TV, but Sindi Dlathu is a sweetheart in real life.

She wants every girl to feel special at their matric dance.

Sindi is giving away three dresses to schoolgirls for their matric dance.

Speaking on her behalf, publicist Eugene Mametse said: “This is Sindi’s project and she has no sponsors. Every cent is from her pocket.”

She wanted to help young girls from poor backgrounds, but there’ll be three winners.

“Sindi’s vision is that the project grows and becomes big so that more pupils can benefit from it. She’d like this to be an ongoing project,” Eugene told Daily Sun.

She also has an Instagram page called Daughters of Sindi, which showcases the work she does to help young girls and women.

“This isn’t something new for her. She’s been lending a helping hand to those in need and the page helps to identify those who need help,” he said.

Eugene said Sindi wanted to give back to the people who’d always supported her.

“The competition opened on 4 June and will close on 4 July,” he said.
