AFTER 21 years of marriage, media personality Romeo Kumalo is still head over heels in love with his wife, former Miss South Africa Basetsana Kumalo.

He recently penned a short and sweet note to her: “How it started, how it’s going 21 years later! It seems like it was only yesterday at La Scala. Happy Anniversary Setse. Thank you for all that you do for us.”

His post attracted congratulations from media friends and fans.

Singer Lira wrote: “Happy anniversary! You guys are so beautiful. Here’s to many happy healthy and fulfilling years together.”

Lupi Ngcayisa commented: “Coming of age! That’s where the union is at right now. As I load You’re Still the One by Shania Twain.”

Tumi Makam posted: “One of the reallest couples I pray for. Keep doing this and represent the kingdom of God with such honour and grace.”

Four months ago, Basetsana had written a similar post and appreciated her husband for giving her 21 blissful years.

She wrote: “He doesn’t like pictures… he’s also not much for crowds… that’s why I like him! My husband… my love… my #MCM… the one who looks after my heart all day, every day and for the last 21years of marriage and 24 years of jolaring! Hey siyajola! Ngiyabonga Mbulaz’omnyama, Mzilikazi, Mashobane, Mntungwa.”

She has since thanked their friends and public for best wishes on their anniversary.

“With deep gratitude and much appreciation, we thank you for your beautiful messages, good wishes, prayers, calls and outpouring of love we received from so many of you in celebration of our 21st wedding anniversary. Siyabonga! Re a le boga! Enkosi kakhulu! Ro livhuwa!” said Bassie.
