ACTRESS Kayise Ngqula has scored herself a role in season 2 of Housekeepers.
The former Our Perfect Wedding presenter said: “I feel very empowered and honoured to be part of such a great production.
“It felt really good to have the opportunity to do what I love and be back on screen.”
Kayise will play the role of Beauty, one of the housekeepers.

“Beauty is a sweet and down-to-earth person, but not strong enough to stand up for herself,” she said
“She has a turbulent relationship with her employer.
“She seeks comfort and advice from Linda, who tries to help her find justice for the way she’s unfairly treated.”
The 29-year-old actress said playing the role was emotional.
“I related a lot to the character because I am a black woman. I found it very empowering to have a voice through her,” she said.
Kayise said her helper played a big part in preparing her for the role.
“I asked her how she’d deal with some of the situations Beauty finds herself in,” she said.
“I also read a lot about the issues housekeepers deal with.”
This month marks a year since she lost her husband to a car crash, and she’s still healing.
“It’s an ongoing journey, but I feel much stronger.
“Prayer and the support of family and friends has helped me a lot in terms of coping with the loss.
“I’ve been going through a lot emotionally and physically, and I’m taking it one day at a time, giving myself a chance to grieve.”
Catch Kaysie on Mzansi Magic’s Housekeepers from the 15 June.
