REALITY TV star MaMkhize is the latest celebrity to be targeted by hackers.

The businesswoman and media personality has revealed her WhatsApp was recently hacked and the person who did it is asking people for large amounts of money.

“My WhatsApp has been hacked. Please don’t send any money if you receive a message from my WhatsApp number,” she announced.

The reality TV star shared a screenshot where the hacker, who’s pretending to be her, asks for e-wallets from people, claiming they have reached their daily limit.

In one screenshot, the person is asking for R3 000 saying they will send it back after midnight.

After sharing the news, a few of MaMkhize’s friends thanked her for alerting them.

Makhize, whose real name is Shauwn Mkhize, isn’t the only celebrity whose number was hacked recently.

Jerusalema singer Nomcebo Zikode also revealed she has been hacked.

In a brief statement posted on her social media platforms, the superstar asked people not to entertain anything coming from her number.

“Good evening my beloved friends and family, if ever you had me as a contact on WhatsApp, please do not send any money as my number has been hacked. There’s someone going around asking all my contacts for money. It’s a scam. I apologise to anyone who has been compromised. Thank you. Nomcebo Zikode,” she wrote.
