MUSICIAN DJ Cleo has fans singing his praises on social media.

This after popular tweep Chris Excel posted his photos and said people must give him his flowers while he is still alive.

He then called for people to help him appreciate the musician.

“Tonight we’re giving this legend his flowers while he’s still alive. Each and every track of this G will give you memories of good times. Help me appreciate this man,” he tweeted on Monday, 31 January.

Tweeps did as Chris asked and they also appreciated the musician.

One of the tweeps shared a video of DJ Cleo playing the guitar at church.

“Everything he touches is a vibe. He was at IPHC (International Pentecostal Holiness Church) recently honouring his mentor the late A Ntshalintshali... Continue to rest babaAubrey,” he wrote.

Twitter user Thabelani Mthembu tweeted: “This guy really made our December holidays back in the day.”

Ice Tali Mamba called the DJ a musical genius.

“The beatmaker, the legend, the musical genius, ‘This is a DJ Cleo Production’ ... The King,” he wrote.

Raymond tweeted: “Heita!! Boss ya di Bosso this guy!! I like his humbleness, no noise maker just a hit maker.”

“DJ Cleo got Ukhozi Song of the Year back to back, the only artist to ever do so,” tweeted real_blacksam.

DJ Cleo responded to Chris’ tweet and thanked him. He commented with the thank you emoji.
