According to a family member that spoke to True Love magazine, the star struggled with breathing and was quickly rushed to hospital.

“He had been complaining about not breathing properly and it got worse. So he was rushed to hospital, where he unfortunately died.”

The family member said Mutodi had not been himself. “He had not been well for some time now, which is why he kept a low profile even though he was an active person.”

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, 8 July, and he will be buried at West Park Cemetery in Joburg.
