RAPPER Big Xhosa has suddenly found himself in the spotlight.
This after he released a diss track where he fired shots at some of Mzansi’s rappers.
In the song titled Ninyile, he said Mzansi rappers needed to pull up their socks.
Big Xhosa, whose real name is Sesethu Myeki, told Daily Sun how the idea for the song came about.
“The song came about while I was sitting in studio working on new material.
“The hip-hop scene has become boring and I thought I should release something to revive it.”
The Eastern Cape rapper fired shots at rappers such as Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C, but said he didn’t do it for clout.

“It was about giving people the entertainment they’ve been yearning for because rappers have started treating this genre as church music and we’re not in church.
“Besides that, I want to create competition to keep other rappers on their feet,” he said.
Big Xhosa said music is an escape for him.
“I draw inspiration from a lot of artists including AKA, Drake and Kanye West.”
Big Xhosa said big record labels are after him, but he’s not signed anything. He said he plans to release a project soon.
“I’m honestly enjoying my newfound fame and I hope I last in this industry.”
