CONTENT producer and public relations specialist Lawrancia Mqwebu has penned a heartfelt message to her late father, actor Roland Mqwebu.
In her Instagram message she assured her father that she and her siblinkgs would make sure his legacy lives on.
She posted: “Oh dad… my angel! How I miss you. We all miss you. I miss your hugs, your kisses. Baba, I miss your smell and your beautiful, very distinct voice. I miss all of you dad… especially when you used to say… ok my baby. I love you so much, old man. Until we meet again, I will work hard with @ms_mqwebu and @ntuthukomqwebu to keep your memory alive and your legacy to outlast your name. Happy heavenly birthday, My King. Love you, dad.”

Her friends and colleagues also commemorated Mqwebu’s life.
Actress Lala Tuku wrote: “I remember he used to come to school. He loved you so.”
Ukhozi FM host Dudu Khoza comforted her and wrote: “Oh my goodness MaLauw ungenzani ekuseni – I can hear in my ears his husky voice.”
Bongiwe wrote: “Happy Heavenly birthday Baba. May you continue to rest in peace.”
Roland played one of the main roles in sitcom Emzini Wezinsizwa, as James Mkhize. He died in August 2015.
