WATCH: Say hello to Mahindra XUV700 SUV!

MAHINDRA motorists will finally be able to buy the anticipated XUV700 in Mzansi on 15 November.

The luxurious and highly advanced new XUV700 SUV has been confirmed for its local launch this year, after its launch in India broke all records for the number of orders and length of its waiting list.

In India, the XUV700 was launched to such high acclaim that customers logged over 150 000 orders before the first car arrived on showroom floors. And, the current waiting list is about 22 months.

In South Africa, the XUV700 was revealed during a live-stream event in June, where after Mahindra South Africa took its first launch units on a road trip to dealers and customers.

“We received such overwhelmingly positive feedback from dealers and prospective customers that we have decided to open our order book on 15 November,” said CEO Rajesh Gupta.

“Customers will have the opportunity to place their orders for the first units to arrive in South Africa, and thus avoid delay. We will release more information on the booking mechanism and benefits to our customers on 7 November,” Gupta added.

The XUV700 is the first model to proudly carry the new twin peaks logo.

With its upgraded performance, world class safety and sci-fi levels of technology, it heralds a completely new era for Mahindra as a brand and company.

Three models of the new XUV700 will be launched, featuring Mahindra’s new high-definition dual-screen layout with a digital instrument panel and digital infotainment system with wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

All models will also be fitted with Mahindra’s new 149kW 2-litre petrol engine and the same high level of safety specifications that has earned the XUV700 the title of Safest Car Ever Tested by the GNCAP.
