AVOID PEOPLE WHO STEAL JOY

accreditation

Sometimes removing some people from your life helps you to make room for better individuals.

You can’t say someone is a genuine friend when he makes you chase after girls instead of encouraging you to look for a job.

Don’t moan or regret if someone voluntarily gets out of your life because some people are like clouds. When they disappear, the sky becomes clearer.

American author Mark Twain encouraged us to walk away from negative people.

The worst person to be around you is someone who complains about everything and appreciates nothing. I’ve realised that negative and toxic people are either lonely, broke or bored.

You must never let them spoil your day. Such people need drama like oxygen. Spend your time with nice people who are smart, ambitious, goal-driven and like-minded. Relationships are vital. They should help, not hurt you.

Always surround yourself with people who reflect the person you want to be.

Life is too short to spend time with people who suck the happiness and motivation out of you.

  • We should never allow toxic people to drag us down. Let’s spend time making a difference in our own lives and other people’s lives. This letter wins R200. Call Nthabiseng at our offices to collect. – Deputy Editor
