RESIDENTS of Ha-Magidi in Limpopo are shocked following the discovery of the body of a 41-year-old man.
Jutasse Wilson Boene, who's originally from Mozambique, was found by one of his friends in an abandoned three-roomed house on Sunday, 24 March at about 5pm.
It's reported that Jutasse, whose family is not known, worked as a trolley collector in the Thohoyandou CBD.
Now, the police are asking the community to assist them in locating his relatives.
His friend visited him after not seeing him for almost two weeks. Recounting the discovery, the friend shared with Daily Sun how he found he found Jutasse's body.
“Upon arriving, I was welcomed by flies, even through the windows. I then went home to tell my wife. We went back together and phoned the ward councillor.
“The councillor, along with other residents, broke the door only to find him lying dead on the floor,” he said.

Councillor Thifhelimbilu Liphadzi said they don’t know what might have killed him as he was living alone.
“We are struggling to locate his family and even his friend doesn't know him well. The owner of the house said he doesn’t know anyone staying at his house. We have a big concern about people who build houses and don't live in them, as well as undeveloped stands, which end up creating problems,” he said.
Vhembe police spokesman Sergeant Vuledzani Dathi confirmed the incident and said the dead man is alleged to have been living alone.
“He was positively found as a slightly decomposed body. The body was taken to the local government mortuary for autopsy and further police investigations,” said Dathi.
Anyone with information regarding this incident should call investigating officer Sergeant Makhuvha on 082 469 1397.
