RESIDENTS from Khayelitsha protested in front of the Harare Police Station in Cape Town on Friday, 15 September.

The residents demanded answers after an alleged rape suspect was released without being charged.

It is alleged that a 59-year-old man raped a teenage thwasa (17) in Harare on Sunday, 3 September.

According to the victim's mother, the gobela had gone to the Eastern Cape and left three of amathwasa at her husband's house.

It is alleged that the husband bought alcohol and gave it to the three girls.
