THE Tonsi family from Orange Farm, Driezik 4, is asking for your help.

Their son, Thato Tonsi (19), has been missing since Sunday, 24 March.

Thato's grandmother, Estorina Moheshe, shared that Thato worked at a construction company nearby.

"On Friday, 22 March, Thato got his pay and showed it to his mum. He asked her if he could use some of the money to buy shoes on Saturday. His mum said yes," the heartbroken grandmother explained.

She continued: "On Saturday, 23 March, Thato did his chores, took a bath, and went to the mall as planned. His mom gave him the money he asked her to keep safe for him. He left in the morning and returned home around 8pm, then went straight to bed."

The next morning on Sunday, his mum spoke to him and asked him about the shoes he planned to buy.

"He back with no shoes and no money. He then left the house, and we thought he was going to his friends as usual. But that was the last time we saw or heard from him. Thato disappeared without a trace. We've asked his friends, but no one knows where he is.

"We're struggling to eat or sleep. His mum is in pain, longing for Thato's return. She’s even stopped going out. Thato, please come home," pleaded Estorina.

She said his aunt, Sbongile Tonsi went to Orange Farm cop shop to open a case of a missing person on Wednesday, 27 march 2024.

Gogo Estorina said Thato is a respectful child who never talks back. He was last seen wearing a navy T-shirt, black jeans, and grey shoes.
