For Lindokuhle Hadebe, riding is all about fun . . . and nothing else.
Speaking to SunWheels, Lindo said weekends were his adventure time because that’s when he painted Orange Farm, south of Joburg not red, but black and white.
Q: When did you start biking?
A: I started in 2011.
Q: Can you tell us about your first bike?
A: I started biking with a small 200cc GoMoto which I upgraded to something fast.
Q: What bike do you currently own?
A: I have a Suzuki GSXR 750cc.
Q: Why did you buy it?
A: I bought the Suzuki because it is faster than the GoMoto bike I started with.
Q: How was your first day of biking?
A: I was always enticed by the atmosphere and the adrenaline rush of bikers – especially in a group – so riding my own bike was an awesome experience.
Q: What colour is your bike?
A: White and black.
Q: Do you have traffic fines?
A: No, I don’t have any traffic fines. I respect the rules of the road.
Q: How often do you ride?
A: I ride twice a week, but on weekends only.
Q: Do you have a licence for your bike?
A: Yes, I do.
Q: Tell us about your outfit?
A: I wear a Nexo leather jacket, gloves, helmet and Alphinestar boots.
Q: Does your bike have a pet name?
A: Yes, I named her Corolla.
Q: Have you customised her in any way?
A: Yes, she has customised fearing with extra pipes.
Q: How far have ridden your bike?
A: I have taken her to KwaZulu-Natal.
Q: What do you love most about her?
A: Riding far is always fun. Being on the road is all about teaching and advancing yourself. And the more you ride, the more you enjoy riding.
Q: Do you belong to a club?
A: Yes, I ride with Sparta MCC.
