SAMUEL'S FUNERAL CLAIM WAS FINALLY PAID

accreditation

THE FACTS

ACCORDING to Samuel Masango from Soshanguve, north of Tshwane, he had a policy with Transafrica Funeral Products.

He said he had been paying faithfully.

When his sister, Pamela Moleko, died he claimed for his benefits but said he was told the policy was still within the six month trial period and so the claim wasn’t paid.

Samuel said his account had already been debited six times, which means he had already passed the trial period when he sent through his claim.

He came to the SunDefender asking for help.

WHAT I DID

I contacted Transafrica and asked them to investigate.

SOLUTION

Thabo Sathege from Transafrica said they have sorted out the matter with the client and a payment was made. Samuel confirmed he was paid R10 000.
