“DO you add enough value to your clients?”
That was one of the questions asked as part of Raizcorp’s Open Day recently. On the day, the organisation launched an interactive panel called Chasing the Truth.
Five entrepreneurs were randomly selected from the audience and were asked a question for each of Raizcorp’s disciplines: strategy, finance, sales, marketing and personal development.
The panel then questioned the entrepreneurs’ ideas in an honest, straight-forward way and in doing so, the audience were asked to think about how they would answer the question if it was posed to them regarding their own businesses.
Nhalakanipho Shange (27) from Umlazi, KZN, was one of the entrepreneurs and he said: “I do not regret attending the event. I think all the questions asked were relevant and helped us learn a thing or two. My relationship with Raizcorp started back in 2013 when I entered my ‘taxi TV’ idea to Pitch and Polish.
“I was knocked out of the national semi-finals of the competition. I later joined the P3 programme and became a participant.
“All successful entrepreneurs have a story of resilience and how they learned from their mistakes.
“Our country needs entrepreneurs – especially in the small business sector as this sector is said to be the future of South Africa’s economy.”
