Lomile Mpapa (47), an unemployed mum of two from Botshabelo in the Free State, was dependant on others but that changed when she joined Botle Buhle Brands in 2012.
After joining Botle Buhle, Mpapa worked hard and grew her business. After it changed her life, she decided to recruit people to the business. She said if you want to live a better life, you must “rise up and change your life for the good”.
“I worked for other direct selling companies before. It really did not change my life. I was working hard but did not see any results.
“In 2015, as a new manager, I was invited to the Botle Buhle Brands year end awards but I did not get an award. I was so angry and disappointed at clapping for other people the whole day that I vowed to return the next year and win the top prize!”
Mpapa said that together with her family, they worked to get as many people to buy the quality products and join the business as possible.
“There is no company like Botle Buhle Brands for me. They are genuine about empowering people. They give you stock on credit to start your business. They’re not out to make money off people’s sweat and hard work.
“Some focus on selling stock and forget to recruit more people, which negatively affects your success. Recruitment is at the heart of the business. I do both and am serious about it.”
Mpapa said the secret to her success is to smile and respect your customers.
Together with husband Ntate and her kids Malichaba and Tholang, the family worked hard and as a result Mpapa won Top Manager last year!
This year, she aims to move from a manager to a distributor at the Botle Buhle Brands.
