GETTING all your family members to buy into your business idea helps your enterprise grow faster.
Those were the words of the Khoza family who are now distributors for the direct-selling company, Botle Buhle Brands, which is changing the lives of Mzansi people for the better.
John (55) and his wife Virginia Khoza (46) told SunMoney that they were with other direct selling companies for more than 10 years before joining Botle Buhle Brands – and in three years they saw success.
“People are taken for a ride by others, for example I was a distributor for one of the direct-selling companies but my bank account did not show that. I was making money for other people,” John said.
He said he joined Botle Buhle Brands and got his family involved, and today they are well off.
“We got free stock when we started. We didn’t pay a cent which is one sign that this is not a rip-off and today, we are living well. Our kids have also become involved in the business,” said Virginia.
The family, who lives in Joburg, said they were struggling to pay their children’s school fees before joining but today they live in a townhouse they bought with their earnings – something they did not even think was possible!
John said living in an RDP house, while they bought their new place, made it all feel unreal at the time.
“The truth is Botle Buhle Brands is here to change the lives of the people – true empowerment. People should look at my life now, especially those who knew me when I was still struggling, to know the truth.”
But he added that it was all due to hard work. He got his family involved because it helped make the business grow faster.
Botle Buhle Brands allows people to sell kitchenware and cosmetic products through a network which pays people on commission.
Their offices are in Ormonde.
