The fifth annual DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival will once again be held at the prestigious Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, Saturday and Sunday, 7 and 8 October.
This food and music festival is the biggest and most popular festival of its kind in South Africa with about 40 000 people expected to attend over the weekend.
“At DStv, we’re always looking for ways to create real-time experiences that are fun and engaging – and DStv Delicious does just that!
“Food channels come to life, kids meet their favourite characters and much-loved celebrities mingle with our valued customers,” said Nomsa Chabeli, general manager of marketing at DStv.
It will again be held at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, a centrally-located venue. Entry is easy with its nine entry and exit points for hassle-free movement.
“We aim to beat last year’s success,” said festival director Lloyd Cornwall. “The festival is a highlight for foodies thanks to its range of entertaining fusions of foods that please all tastes, both traditional and contemporary.”
“The ongoing growth of festival visitors is evidence of our festival recipe of success.
“The main components of our recipe are: international and local artists, chefs featured in various pop-up restaurants and cooking theatres, brand and channel activations and promotions, an interactive kids zone, South Africa’s biggest gourmet street food market, and a world class dance arena.”
As to guests and celebrity appearances, the announcements of line-up confirmations will be made later in the year.
