BAFANA Bafana problems seems to be far from over ahead of their Friday’s crucial 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Senegal.

Bad news for Bafana coach Stuart Baxter is that midfielder Hlompho Kekana has been excused from the camp after receiving news of a tragedy in his family.

Tiyani mabunda has been called to replace Kekana in the squad that will play Senagal back to back with hopes of qualifying for Russia's World Cup.

“We will be monitoring to see if he is in good frame of mind to come back into camp,” said SAFA spokesperson Dominic Chimhavi

This leaves coach Baxter with a bit of a headache in central midfield as Andile Jali and Bongani Zungu are suspended for game.

Kaizer Chiefs players Siphiwe Tshabalala and Eric Mathoho joined the squad in Polokwane on Tuesday morning.

Bafana is still waiting for the doctors on Itumeleng Khune who sustained a facial injury when he collided with a Chippa United player on Sunday during the Telkom quarter-final match.
