The long queues of women found at child maintenance courts are worrying. These lines say a little about women but a lot about men.
This tells us that there is a man who has abandoned his financial duty to take care of his kids. Who are these men? How do they justify their absence? No one can claim that they don’t know that having unprotected sex results in pregnancy.
Parenthood is a collective responsibility. Couples face many challenges but that has nothing to do with the baby.
Babies didn’t ask to be born, so they shouldn’t have to ask to be maintained. Child support should be a fixed expense in every dad’s budget. I support my daughter every month! Men, let’s support our children.
