COPS are still searching for the 24-year-old man allegedly shot and killed by a farmer in Majakaneng, North West.
Violence blow up in the area after the community went to the farm, looking for Tebogo Ndlovu.
The community alleges that Ndlovu was killed by the farmer for trying to steal oranges.
"We are still in the area and continuing with the investigation on a missing person inquiry and attempted murder case," police spokesperson Colonel Sabata Mokgwabone said on Thursday.
Two vehicles were set alight on the N4 near Rustenburg by the protesters, they also threw stones at passing motorists.
At the time motorists were advised to use the R511 and R512 as alternative routes.
