A FOETUS was found in a drain in Birchleigh in Kempton
Park.
It was discovered on Wednesday at approximately 18:00.
ER24 paramedics were called to the scene after plumbers had apparently spotted the body after being called out for a blocked drain.
"Paramedics were called to the scene around 22:00 and found the body lying on the pavement showing no signs of life.
"It was evident to paramedics that the foetus had been dead for some time," said ER24.
Nothing more could be done by paramedics.
Local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
