TWO women from New Brighton, Port Elizabeth have accused a trainee cop of posting nasty comments on Facebook.

They claim his posts paint them as woman with low morals who are easily bought with cheap booze.

Makori Tonyela (19) said: “He’s been posting humiliating messages on his Facebook page for a long time.

“He likes to claim we are drunkards who are only after money.

“People have no respect for us because of this rude cop.”

Senelisiwe Nondumo (22), Makori’s friend, said: “We don’t need cops like him. Cops should protect us and not abuse us.”

Police spokesman Captain Andre Beetge said the posts were unacceptable, as they violate the rights of the two young women.

Beetge said: “They must lodge a complain at their nearest police station and we will take it from there.”
