THE Annual Ekurhuleni International Film Festival is back
for the 2nd time and will take place at the Germiston Theatre in Ekurhuleni.
The film festival will take place from 23 November to 01 December, it is aimed at giving a platform to local film makers, in order for them to compete with international film makers.
During the festival, participant will be granted an opportunity to study film through workshops and seminars in order to get a better understanding of International trends in the film industry.
"The series of workshops that will be highly informative, and will provide intense details on how one can infiltrate this growing industry," Sobumko Group's Bongani Soko said.
The festival is a result of a collaborative effort between the Sobumko Group, Rhythm Cycle Trading Projects, The City of Ekurhuleni and the Department of Sport Recreation, Arts and Culture.
"The Ekurhuleni International Film Festival had over 2000 films that where submitted both locally and internationally," Soko said.
