HER oldest child looks more like her sister, and her youngest child is a pensioner . . .

But at 109, gogo N’wa-Phafula Chauke still has lots of love to give.

Just ask her 52 grandkids, her 115 great-grandchildren and 37 great-great-grandchildren.

The gogo from Rivala Village near Giyani, Limpopo recently celebrated her birthday with her five remaining children, grandkids and villagers.

Gogo N’wa-Phafula hasn’t only outlived her husband Samuel, who died in 1983, but also two of her three sons.

Gogo said: “The secret to my long life is that I pray hard, go to church often and have never taken a pill in my life.”

All her kids are pensioners.

Her daughter, Mamayila Chauke (67) said: “My mum loves eating good food.

“She also enjoys cake when we celebrate birthdays, and always has her rice with tomato sauce and mayonnaise.”
