YVONNE Martin fears the toilet of death will kill all her children.

This comes after a school tie was found hanging behind the toilet where her son hanged himself last month.

Yesterday the 54-year-old woman from extension 8 in Eldorado Park, south of Joburg, said there was something evil going on in the area.

“After my son died, I discovered that when his friend also hanged himself earlier this year, he left a list of names behind. My son’s name was at the top of the list.

“My son Clayton was the first on the list and he has already died. The second name was my son Jonathan,” she said.

Since last year there have been four suicides in the area.

“Clayton was a bright student but he was on drugs,” said Yvonne.

“I am scared Jonathan will kill himself because he has been acting strangely lately. After his brother died he didn’t sleep at home and he didn’t even go to the grave.”

The owner of the house where the tie was found, Ben Adonnisen (38), said: “A lot of young men come to my yard to smoke dagga. I call the police and they get chased away but they keep coming back.”

Police Captain Phillemon Khorombi could not confirm whether drugs are causing people to commit suicide in the area.

“Cops went to the scene and asked about the tie but people said they didn’t know who put the tie there,” Khorombi said.
