This year's Mercedes-Benz Fashion week kicked off on a high note. The event took place at Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton on Wednesday night.

Nandi Mngoma was among other designers that were there to showcase their fashion collections.

However, Nandi not only showcased her fashion collection, but she also showed her baby bump to the world for the first time.

As Nandi walked down the runway with local designer Inga Madyibi, she proudly revealed her pregnancy rocking a sexy white mini dress.

The crowed screamed and cheered in excitement. Some were shocked because Nandi's pregnancy had only been rumoured.

Nandi and long-term boyfriend Zakes Bantwini got married in a very private ceremony in June and now they'll be welcoming their bundle of joy soon.

Zakes was among those attending the event.
