FOR sports presenter Minnie Dlamini, the wait is over.
She is now officially Mrs Jones.
Dlamini and her fiance, Quinton Jones, celebrated their love with a glamorous white wedding at Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West, in the Western Cape on Saturday.
The couple got engaged in December last year.
The wedding was attended by personalities such as radio hosts Thando Thabethe and Anele Mdoda, reality show star Somizi Mhlongo, singer Unathi Msengana, DJ Euphonik and Hulisani Ravele.
Dudu Khoza, Noma Gigaba, Thembeka Cele, Basetsana Kumalo and Jessica Nkosi also attended.
Shortly after the engagement, Minnie told The Sowetan: “I can’t wait for my white wedding. My wedding dress is something you have never seen me in. I’m in a red carpet dress almost every week so I wanted people to see me in a different light.”
A three-part reality show about the couple, Becoming Mrs Jones, will be shown next month.
Viewers will get to see the wedding planning process, the wardrobe and the traditional and Western food.
“It’s my journey, told through my eyes, my way. Producing the show helped me maintain control of the creative process throughout. The production is deeply personal and I’d love to share it with the country,” Minnie said.
Guests were asked not to take pictures or selfies because of the couple’s contract which gave exclusive rights to a TV station for the filming and broadcasting of the wedding.
It is understood the couple earned millions.
Becoming Mrs Jones will be shown on Vuzu Amp on 13 October.
