A PICTURE circulating on social media showing actress Jessica Nkosi being carried by a crew member on the set of Isibaya has been described as having been all in good fun.

She plays the role of Qondi on the popular soapie.

The photo of Jessica being carried in the rain by a crew member has been circulating on Facebook, and led to accusations that she’s a diva who gets special treatment.

The photo shows Jessica being carried by a man while another crew member is holding an umbrella over her head.

Although the photo looks damning, the Isibaya team has said it was just a joke among colleagues and it’s nothing to worry about.

M-Net’s head of publicity, Nondumiso Mabece, said: “In the course of producing a show the cast and crew build a rapport and joke.

“On the day in question, it started raining as production was moving between sets.

“The actress was in full make-up and wardrobe and one of the crew offered to pick her up and carry her to the next set so she wouldn’t get wet.

“Any suggestion of special treatment is unfounded.”
